Fall Lip.

Yesterday I swung by my favorite beauty counter and decided on my lip for Fall.

We started with a little pencil in True Red.

Added a glossy pretty in Rose Hope.

And created this amaze look.  (Believe me, it's beyond awkward taking a picture of your lips.)

Even better news is that the Lip Glace that I bought supports Ovarian Cancer.  100% of the funds raised from the sale of this product go to the Laura Mercier Ovarian Cancer Fund, which hopes to raise awareness and fund research and educational efforts that will help diagnose, treat and support women with ovarian cancer.

This is actually a cause that is near and dear to my heart as a friend of ours died from ovarian cancer a little over a year ago.  It was a very sad and difficult time in my life as her death significantly impacted my husband.  Jen was his bestest girlfriend, who he spent much time with post-college traveling the world.  When all of us ended up in Chicago, she was always someone we could count on to try a new restaurant, grab a drink or hit up a street fest.  He is still very close to her husband and sister and not a day goes by that she is not thought about.
